About the project
Zenobia Charcoal Grill is located at Citywalk and prides itself on its special charcoal grill. Designed by Hassan Jaber and implemented by Atlas Continent Contracting, this restaurant combines outstanding decor with exotic Middle-Eastern cuisine.
Designed and executed as a high-end restaurant, the main design goal was to create an industrial, modern-looking restaurant. The interiors were intended to target high-end clientele, while at the same time offering a space that promised a unique food experience that combined indulgence, taste and quality.
The interiors of the restaurant reflect a design mood that is natural and light. The designer chose dark and light grey for the walls to reflect the industrial theme; the main highlight of the space was the two high-rustic, u-shaped pattern elements. Concrete bare flooring combined with a main nine-meter decorative wall was another highlight in terms of the project’s design elements.
The overall finishes stay true to the industrial theme: the lighting, steel ducts, clean lines, minimalist design and the black and white theme of the interiors all help to create the intended design atmosphere. Nevertheless, the decorative wall provides a hint of the cuisine and the much-needed break from the otherwise bare space.
