ANTIMICROBIAL HYGIENE AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES IN THE OFFICE
UPHOLSTERY FABRICS, REMOVABLE OFFICE CHAIR COVERS AND HANDLE COVERS WITH HEIQ VIROBLOCK
It is likely we have never felt a greater need to protect ourselves from viruses and bacteria than now. We now offer suitable solutions to ensure that you can be effectively protected from pathogens such as coronavirus in your working environment. The antimicrobial cover sets can be used to retrofit existing swivel chairs and visitor chairs, as well as door handles. If you are planning to acquire new seating solutions, choose chairs already upholstered with antimicrobial materials such as fabrics and meshes with HeiQ Viroblock.
HEIQ VIROBLOCK FABRIC TECHNOLOGY
AT A GLANCE
- This HeiQ Viroblock fabric technology protects the product against microbes and germs.
- Contains a biocide (active ingredient: silver chloride) on the basis of recycled silver salt.
- HeiQ Viroblock is a unique combination of advanced silver technology and vesicle technology as a booster.
- Silver releases silver ions and therefore inhibits the adhesion of bacteria to fabric surfaces. The vesicle technology destroys the virus membrane so that the silver can attack the core of the virus more efficiently and more quickly.
- The effectiveness of the HeiQ Viroblock technology against SARS-CoV-2 has been tested* in a laboratory.
- HeiQ Viroblock technology is hyperallergenic and our textiles are OEKO-TEX certified.

ANTIMICROBIAL WITH HEIQ VIROBLOCK
- The HeiQ Viroblock technology has an antimicrobial effect against coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2), amongst others.
- It is available as standard with Lucia Plus (black) or Mesh Plus (black).
- For larger projects, other fabrics from our product range can be treated with HeiQ Viroblock on request.

ANTIMICROBIAL COVERS: EFFECTIVE AND FLEXIBLE
- HeiQ Viroblock technology: Has an antimicrobial effect against coronaviruses (SARS-CoV-2), amongst others.
- Five different cover sets – suitable for existing swivel chairs and visitor chairs from all manufacturers.
- Available in black
- Can be washed up to 30 times:
- At 40 °C on the delicates cycle
- Do not iron
- Do not dry-clean
- Wash dark fabrics separately
- Material: 80% polyamide, 20% elastane

TOGETHER AGAINST COVID-19
OUR CONTRIBUTION
Social distancing and reducing contact are the most important measures when combating the coronavirus and COVID-19, the lung disease it leads to. But products that protect against infection or destroy pathogens also make an important contribution. That is why, as a furniture manufacturer, we have made it our task to also develop effective solutions to contain the pandemic in our area of expertise.
Working together with the Swiss company HeiQ, we have managed to integrate their innovative Viroblock coating into our production processes. This enables us to offer a solution for existing products on the one hand (our antimicrobial removable office chair covers). On the other hand, we also have matching offers for new purchases with the antimicrobial version of the black Lucia fabric and the black mesh version. Cleaning and disinfection are also important topics that we must all be aware of and do every day.
