Overview

When designing 6000 san_siro, Norbert Geelen was inspired by nothing less than the largest stadium in Italy: Milan’s Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, which is traditionally called San Siro due to its location in the district of the same name. And so some of the table tops are reminiscent of its characteristic, architectural shape. The defining design feature of the series, however, is the slim tubular steel column frame with the flat, straight arms made of aluminum. The differently shaped panels rest on this base – asymmetrically like the figure of a pebble, in the classic round, rectangular or square variants or in the form of the stadium that gives it its name – whereby the wide range of design options thanks to the variously selectable materials, Surfaces and edge strips as well as through the various structural frame solutions is increased. The models 6050 san_siro are particularly suitable for the flexible and temporary furnishing of work, meeting, conference or seminar rooms, because the panels of the system can be unlocked with a handle and swiveled vertically upwards. Thanks to the equipment with castors, several tables can be staggered laterally offset and easily moved to another location.
