Firenze is based on a new spatial concept with its unusual obtuse angle shape that projects the furniture into space. The static position of the classic storage against the wall disappears. “The will of the design was to lighten the perception of the storage volume and suggest new functions for the newly created free space. The overall lightness is accentuated by the glass sides that show its contents.” Its lid is made by hand from oak veneers that are joined at the apex and has an interior light that is activated by opening doors and even a motion sensor.
