Overview

Different sets with the same purpose: to host appointments, meetings or informal gatherings.

Cita is a modular programme made up of benches, a chair and a table designed by the Swedish Note (Design Studio). This design is conceived to encourage interaction in a welcoming and flexible environment in which to hold all kinds of get togethers around a table, from breakfast, a long after-dinner conversation, or a work meeting.

In a restaurant, at home or in the office, Cita provides a space where everyone can meet, collaborate and socialise. In all its arrangements, more intimate or open, the benches facilitate communication and dialogue.

Creating Inclusive Spaces. The formal design of the bench is reminiscent of train seating systems, especially when creating compositions of 2 and 3 seater benches. The slightly curved seats provide comfortable seating, with a slim pillar base lightens the design.

The use of the modules can be architectural: by arranging placing one bench in front of another semi-enclosed spaces are created.

Another option is to create long compositions leaning against a wall, joined together to create long benches with multiple seats.

The chair continues the curved design language of the bench. Despite its compact footprint, the piece packs a punch, making a statement in any restaurant, home or office interior.

Finally, the table, with a single pillar as a central leg, completes the family. It is made entirely from solid ash wood and can be stained in any of the colours from our range. The metal base can also be lacquered in any of our colours.

These bistro-style tables which, living up to their name, contribute to promoting conversation both in “tête-à-tête” arrangements with the chairs or benches from the same collection.
