Skyrock Stone Wool products are made from volcanic rock – a natural material present in large quantities throughout the earth. These raw materials are natural basalt and dolomite coming from regional resources. Complies with ASTM C612 and EN 13162 standard.
When used as insulation behind and around electrical boxes, wires, and pipelines, rockwool is particularly effective. Most wall cavities can be filled, leaving almost no space. It can also be applied as a fireproofing spray. Given that it can maintain its thermal efficiency over a number of decades with little degradation in its R-value, it is difficult to contest the material’s longevity.
