ABOUT
In 2016, Samuel met Fabio Careddu, wood expert and furniture designer with his own company IDEANDU in Sardinia, on a construction site. After successfully developing their first few joint projects the two decided to merge their companies: IDEANDU and Haas Bau Berlin KG.
Thus, in June 2018 colobo GmbH was founded. With their combined expertise and experience and an expanded team, colobo began developing larger projects. Although initially working as general contractors, colobo GmbH soon shifted its focus to developing larger office and commercial spaces. In 2020, colobo expanded it’s furniture construction division and upcycling design projects by moving into a modern, 600 m2 workshop in Berlin-Pankow.
In 2021, Fabio decided to move back to Italy with his family and officially took a step back from the company to pursue new challenges in Sardinia. As of 2022, colobo also took a step back from offering general contractor services, and instead now focuses exclusively on being a one-stop source for interior design.
