Oman Brunei Investment Company is a closed joint stock company established in 2009 and registered under the Commercial Companies Law of the Sultanate of Oman. The company is involved in the business of investing in diverse sectors of the economy, primarily in Oman.
The company was formed as a 50:50 joint venture between the governments of the Sultanate of Brunei and the Sultanate of Oman. Based on this strategic partnership, OBIC has the vision to explore and expand the best opportunities that both the countries have to offer.
Omani Hospitality Company SAOC
The company was established in 2012 as an SPV to develop the luxurious 5-star Kempinski Hotel Al Mouj Muscat located in the Sultanate of Oman. The beachfront project offers 310 hotel keys and 77 hotel apartments. The facilities and amenities include F&B and retail outlets, a health club, children’s club, a four-lane bowling alley, business conference & meeting facilities, gardens, courtyard and prayer rooms. The hotel property has been officially opened on 15th March 2018 and is estimated to generate over 500 jobs.
