Rolf Ockert. Architect., commenced in 2004, has in a relatively short period of time created a rich portfolio of work, ranging from high end residential design to commercial and retail projects, product and furniture design, masterplanning and much more. Projects to date have been located throughout Australia as well as overseas, most recently in New Zealand, Japan, the US and Switzerland. Many projects have been published in books and magazines all over the world.

Rolf has spent extended periods of time extending his practical experience in renowned architectural practices in Germany, England and Japan, amongst them Frei Otto, Michael Hopkins and James Stirling as well as Riken Yamamoto in Japan.

From 1997 to 2004 Rolf was Associate Director at a small boutique firm in Sydney, responsible for iconic projects such as the Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Pool in the Domain (RAIA Award 2003), the King George V Recreation Centre in the Rocks (RAIA Award 1999), the Butterfly House in Dover Heights and the MLC Aquatic Centre (RAIA Award 2004) as well as a number of other residential and public projects.
During this time Rolf established his extensive local experience in all aspects of the design, documentation and construction process.

Rolf is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Board of Architects in NSW and Victoria.
