Spanish Business Council

The Spanish Business Council is a private non-profit organization whose aim is to establish a corporate platform to strengthen business and cultural ties between Spain and the United Arab Emirates, by linking Spanish companies to Emirati public and private entities.

It has been founded in 2005 and supported by the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Commercial Office in the UAE.

The Spanish Business Council gathers Spanish companies/individuals or foreign companies/individuals, which want to establish business relations in the United Arab Emirates.

Decisions are made by a Board of Directors, led by a chairman and two vice-chairmen, and carried out by an office coordinator.

To promote Spanish commercial and business interests in the UAE and encourage economic and commercial activities, investments and other initiatives between the UAE and Spain.

To offer to the members of the SBC a platform to exchange information and experiences and to communicate and interact with Public and Private entities and persons in the UAE by means of meetings, gatherings, seminars, conferences and receptions.

To strengthen commercial, economic and cultural ties and promote mutual awareness between the UAE and Spain.

To reinforce the image of Spain in the United Arab Emirates.
