Cosentino Middle East unveils Capsule Collection that “dares to play” 5 Top regional designers create limited-edition furniture and home accessories collection with Dekton Slim Protek
Cosentino Middle East recently unveiled the much- awaited second edition of the Capsule Collection at an exclusive event held at SKOONI Art Foundation & Residence, one of Dubai’s most coveted locations. Held in the presence of the collection’s designers – Nadine Kanso, Omar Nakkash, Rabah Saeid, Omar Al Gurg and Thomas Trad, the evening proved to be this season’s highlight, drawing the attendance of over 100 cherrypicked A+D guests.
Unified under the theme “Dare to Play” and created using Dekton Slim Protek, the collection
comprised of 5 exceptional pieces: a floor lamp, a bench, a modular assortment of multi-
purpose furniture, a dinnerware carrier and an office desk, tastefully displayed outdoors by
the poolside.
The cocktail reception kicked off with a note from Regional Director Eddy Abou Khalil who
highlighted that celebrating regional talent and making in the UAE were key objectives of
the bi-annual design initiative.
Despite the chilly weather, guests lingered till late, relishing cocktails and nibbles at the
foraging tables as they socialized and mingled with the designers who were only too pleased
to present their creations and talk about what had been an outstanding 5-month journey
from start to finish.
