dormakaba wins four ICONIC AWARDS 2021: Innovative Architecture
dormakaba has won four awards at this year’s ICONIC AWARD 2021: Innovative Architecture. From a total of 878 entries, 70 of them in the category “Product”, three products were honored with the “Best of Best” label for outstanding submissions. Awards were given to the KTV swing doors, the LA GARD 700 safe locks and the Skyfold Classic 55 partition wall system.

Besides the award “Winner” for its Safe Checkpoint Tower, this year, three products from dormakaba were awarded the label “Best of Best”. The jury explained its selection as follows:
KTV revolving doors
KTV revolving doors combine safety, low-wear technology, ease of installation and timelessly modern aesthetics. Remarkably, the overhead construction is only 100 mm high. The motor is pleasantly quiet, low-maintenance and durable. The individual planning and production of each system makes the KTV revolving doors an attractive alternative.
LA GARD 700 safe locks
The LA GARD 700 safe locks have their own modern and unmistakable design language, which perfectly unites dormakaba and the traditional LA GARD brand. The line has been neatly designed down to the last detail and impresses both with its contemporary technology, which promises multi-certified security, and in terms of user friendliness.
Skyfold Classic 55
The Skyfold Classic 55 wall partition system impresses with heights of up to 11 m and is also suitable for inclined surfaces. Sound insulation indices exceed industry standards. Thanks to the special construction, the system does not require floor rails, wall rails or visible hinges, and can be stored on the ceiling to save space. The ease of use is also impressive: The Skyfold Classic 55 operates fully automatically, is quiet, and conveniently controlled by key or touchscreen.
The award ceremony of the ICONIC AWARDS 2021: Innovative Architecture, will take place on 11 October 2021 at the Pinakothek der Moderne during the Expo Real in Munich.
