Kohler Interprets Design and Beyond During Their “Dimensions of Wellbeing” Experiential Event

An evening of relaxation and otherworldly design

Kohler Co., hosted a spectacular evening in their Kohler Signature Showroom located on Shaikh Zayed road. Kohler recognizes that wellbeing is personal, subjective, and fluid. As such, spaces that can adapt to their occupants’ personal interpretation of wellbeing inherently provide a more fulfilling experience. In that same vein, they created an experiential event in which the lines between design and wellness were defined and celebrated. The journey began with a “power of scent” station, accompanied with the beautifully dim lit ambiance, where guests were encouraged to wear a blind fold and smell three different scents. This activity was meant to stimulate the remaining five senses and guests will then describe memories recalled with each scent. 

Another activity, a crowd favorite, encouraged guests to choose a track they would like to listen to depending on their mood, as such they’re then provided with headphones, in the style of a silent disco, next to a bath filled with disco balls! Followed by a spectacular Bali-esque photo op in Kohler’s very own “Real Rain” innovation, guests then passed by the massage therapist booth for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating event.  Through Dimensions of Wellbeing, Kohler seeks to empower architects and designers to create spaces that respond to their occupants and the many ways their lives have changed over the course of last few years, enabling them to create a specific mood or feeling through the combination of form and function, and that was the atmosphere that KOHLER had curated for their guests during the event. As Kohler continues to boldly push the limits of design and technology, new precedents are bound to be set.
