Humanscale, the leading manufacturer of high-performance ergonomic solutions, announces the opening of its latest showroom in Seoul. Located in Hannam-dong, one of the most affluent and sought-after neighbourhoods, the location reflects Humanscale’s commitment to blending luxury with ergonomic innovation.
South Korea’s transformation into a global tech titan aligns with Humanscale, with the brand having experienced a multifold revenue increase in the Korean market over the last six years, signifying the country’s affinity for design and quality. Humanscale stands out as one of the few brands investing this way in the South Korean market, further highlighting a synchronised vision between the brand and the nation.
Speaking about the new venture, Jinu Lee, the Country Manager for Humanscale’s Korean market, shares, “at the heart of Humanscale’s Seoul Showroom is an immersive customer-centric experience. With the emphasis placed on seating and ergonomic tools in workspaces, we welcome guests to visit our space, bring their laptops, settle in, and experience our products firsthand, to feel the difference over an extended period of time. Our goal is to showcase the importance of ergonomics in enhancing health and productivity.”
Humanscale’s vision is materialised through the innovative use of space. Comprising a 1,237 square-foot internal and 322 square-foot external space, the showroom provides true flexibility, enabling the brand to run a variety of events and product launches.
With the ever-burgeoning South Korean gaming audience, the showroom offers specialised stations with integrated retractable screens that provide long-term comfort. This not only enhances the gaming experience but allows product testing for extended periods. The space also provides modern workspace versatility, evident in the Path and Summa chair displays, which blur the lines between corporate and home environments.
Prominent displays emphasise sustainability, from the planet positive Path chair to the framed ‘Declare’ label. Smart Ocean and Liberty Ocean chairs are accompanied by a section of fishing nets to emphasise Humanscale’s commitment to waste reduction and reuse. As Korea sets ambitious environmental benchmarks, Humanscale stands alongside, ready to lead.
The showroom is located at 2F 8-15, Daesagwan-ro 11-gil Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, 04401, and is open by appointment.
