A Sustainable Room-Structuring System with Unlimited Design Options

The modern working environment calls for flexible office designs: innovative concepts and customised solutions that adapt to the demands of everyday working life, again and again. With POINTS, Bene has designed a modular, free-standing and space-structuring system that can respond immediately to changes and the latest trends – and thus promotes a dynamic and open working culture.

A NEW POINT OF VIEW: OPEN SPACES AND PROTECTED AREAS FOR RETREAT

An inspiring environment that makes room for every situation – whether it’s a space to interact with colleagues, host a meeting or for concentrated work: with POINTS, you can create exactly the zones you need. This modular system designed by Pearson Lloyd is free-standing, does not require changes to be made to the building structure and offers maximum flexibility. It creates spaces that provide both the area you need and the comfort to engage in your desired activities. Examples of this include relaxed lounge areas that create an inviting atmosphere and promote informal interaction between colleagues, and functional workshop spaces for active teamwork and joint project work.

“POINTS allows customers to divide up their office space according to their needs,” explains Michael Fried, Executive Board Member for Sales, Marketing & Innovation at Bene. “This creates an optimal balance between open-plan room structures and protected areas for retreat, which helps strengthen social interaction and improve communication. This flexibility lays the foundation for successful cooperation.”

VERSATILE, COMFORTABLE AND SMART

The design can be customised thanks to our range of “on- and infills”, which are available in various materials, textures and colours. By combining the modules with suitable lighting options, add-on elements and accessories, it is easy to create the perfect ambience. Fabrics and curtains in a variety of textures and colours will lend the space a feeling of comfort, while melamine or veneer shelves provide structure to open rooms and offer practical storage space. There are no limitations in the choice of design: they can easily be adapted, expanded and individual components can be exchanged. There is even the option of hanging opaque and acoustically effective curtains on the POINTS configuration.

SUSTAINABLE OFFICE LANDSCAPES

Bene’s modular system also strikes a chord from an environmental perspective. It is designed according to the principles of the circular economy, in which modular design plays a key role. The system replaces space-shaping interior fittings, thus preventing waste, while the optimised use of materials saves resources. The components of the POINTS system are also easy to disassemble and they can then be separated by type. What’s more, when it’s time to move premises, it can be easily dismantled and re-installed at the new location.

“The entire product development process at Bene is now based on environmental requirements,” explains Patricia Möckesch, Head of Innovation and Design at Bene. “Above all, the recyclability of our products takes centre stage, alongside a long service life, repairability and the ability to replace components. At the end of the system’s life cycle, the individual components can be separated by type so that they can be returned to the closed-loop material cycle – both extending their service life and reducing their impact on the environment. This approach was a key consideration with POINTS from the very beginning.”
