About Aaron Clarkson

Award winning Furniture Designer Aaron Clarkson graduated from Coventry University in 2013 with a first class honours in Industrial Product Design. His final project was a furniture brief which he didn’t know at the time would form his career and he has never looked back.
His career began at Duresta, an East Midlands furniture manufacturer specialising in luxury upholstery for the domestic market. There he mastered wooden frame making and upholstery, exhibiting his first chair range at the NEC Furniture Fair in Birmingham.

From there Aaron started working for Boss Design, one of the UK’s leading designers of contract furniture. Initially the vast majority of projects were interiors based, designing the exhibition stands for the furniture fair in Milan and the showroom at Neocon in Chicago. This allowed Aaron to understand space and gain a true feel to how the furniture will be used.
