About KATARÍNA KOTULÁČOVÁ

Ever since she was a child, she have had a great liking for visual arts. At the same time, she tried to develop technical skills and a pragmatic approach, which led her to study architecture and urbanism. After she obtained a degree, her career turned towards art again. With glass being such a fascinating material, she got excited about product design. The fact that she does not come from a glass-making background allows her to step back and take a different look at working with glass. It gives her space to seek new possibilities, to explore the limits and try to extend them.

Projects she is proud of:

  • Pearls for Euroluce 2015 – design concept & realization of a lighting necklace
  • 1000 Prisms for Light+Building 2014 – design concept & realization
