About Ray Wilkes
When Ray Wilkes arrived in New York City in the early sixties on a Royal College of Art grant to study in the United States, he went straight to an office on 50th Street. He’d been referred to George Nelson, the renowned architect, designer, and publisher, through his RCA connections.
