Aloft City Centre Deira, Dubai

Designed by Studio HBA with Bluehaus Group handling the fitout, the Aloft Hotel is an urban yet authentic and youthful space featuring 304 guest rooms, including 29 suites, and offers direct connectivity to the Deira City Centre shopping mall. The concept of the hotel is based on the idea of self expression and diversity, and is designed to encourage social interaction and attract the bold, and energetic traveller. This contemporary visual interpretation is portrayed through vibrant colors, urban textures and intricate patterns artfully blended to give an overall cool design.

On the second level sits the Remix Cafe hosting a colourful, spiral staircase and sculptural welded art dotted about. As you walk through, you are met by an 11 metre high wall installation consisting of black metal frames showcasing the Dubai skyline. The Refuel Café is a long marble counter facing a full height creative media wall, and is an ideal place to catch up with emails and grab a quick bite.

The round reception desk features a sleek, poured concrete top wrapped with a bold graphic, which is updated four times a year as part of Aloft’s seasonal programming.

Bistro is designed with intense colours spread across the loose furniture, and infused with a slight industrial feel in its interiors. As you enter the restaurant you are met with a buffet counter in the centre, and an open kitchen along the perimeter, showcasing the freshly prepared meals. The design aims to create a casual dining ambience with a touch of style through a raw mix of materials and trendy design techniques.

The Lobby Lounge features an urban chic decor through vivid colours, dynamic lines and geometric forms. This lobby area features a mix of design elements that give the space a young, fun, innovative and artistic look.

The guest rooms, meanwhile, follow a minimal yet playful style, which includes conspicuous details, such as a cool graphic wall, a quirky carpet on the floor, and the Dubai skyline on the headboard. a
