About the project
On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, Golden Goose opens its new headquarters in Milan and chooses Mara’s Simple Chairs to furnish the building dedicated to the showroom building. The architectural project, internally designed by Golden Goose and in collaboration with ML Architettura, is located in the area that will house the Olympic Village for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. The new headquarters, result of the transformation of two industrial warehouses, is a reminder of the first historical headquarters in Marghera, located in an old foundry.
Two parallelepipeds clad in black metal sheet that intersect each other. This is how the new Milan-ese headquarters looks from the outside: the larger building, on three levels, covers a surface area of 3,670 m2 and is dedicated to offices, while the smaller one of 1,000 m2 is entirely dedicated to the showroom.
The absence of pillars in the original structure made it possible to develop a centripetal project in which everything converges towards the central patio, a place to live all together, like a family, in perfect harmony with the brand’s values.
