About the project

Founded in 2021 after hosting a series of sell-out supper clubs in secret locations across Dubai, the infamous Hawker boi has settled on his first permanent residence at The Park, Jumeirah Lake Towers. The venue is fully licensed serving cocktails, wine, beer alongside the usual soft drinks. The space was designed by Mitchell & Eades and fitted out by Ginco.

Located at The Park above all-day café Splendour Fields, Hawker boi serves Asian-style hawker food with bold, fresh flavors from an open kitchen – steaming, roasting, grilling and, of course, using the signature wok. Famed for his secret supper clubs, which became a cult favourite with in-the-know diners, mysterious Hawker boi is often described as the Banksy of Dubai’s foodie scene. The new menu takes inspiration from Hawker boi’s past life in the Far East, influenced by bustling street-food hawkers in Malaysia and Thailand.

The restaurant’s interiors to reflect underground foodie community hang-outs and soulful bars in South-East Asia, with a vast open kitchen and sultry red neon piping. The music will be loud, and the lighting will be low with the lively kitchen in the centre – mastering the art of balance and theatre. The restaurant can accommodate 140 covers, which include a main dining area, a bar and two terraces: a laidback space for fun and social gatherings.
