Italist Pizza & Pasta Bar, Kyiv

ITALIST Pizza Pasta Bar is the second restaurant of the ITALIST Family chain in Kyiv. The principal designers are Ukrainian twin brothers of the studio YUDIN Design, Oleksandr and Volodymyr Yudin. In the exterior, the twins Brothers Yudin designed an area dedicated to the takeaway and some tables and chairs for a dinner outside. For the main room of the restaurant, the designers have adopted two styles: minimalist, in the decor composed of wooden tables and velvet chairs; industrial, in the concrete ceiling and the pillars deliberately left rough.

Large panoramic windows show an exclusive view of the city and, at the same time, tender sliding curtains guarantee guests’ privacy. Here the Brothers Yudin have placed soft velvet sofas and custom cushions with the name of the restaurant. In the other wall, brothers Volodymyr and Oleksandr Yudin have placed wooden panels, some of which contain decorative installations with real bottles of wine. The flagship of the work of the designers is the bar, with its minimalist open structure, glass shelves decorated with floral elements and all the products offered in plain sight.
