About the project
A new approach to airport shopping is at the heart in the newly opened Istanbul Airport. Designed and implemented by intelligent brand architects Plajer & Franz studio, Luxury Timepieces is a luxury watches and jewellery boutique and their latest collaboration with Heinemann (and local Turkish partner ATU), the travel retail experts. It is one of multiple new concepts by Plajer & Franz being rolled out in Istanbul and internationally. The approach draws on their department store expertise to bring modern luxury to multibrand shopping.
A keystone of of the world-class luxury retail destination, the store features a strong overarching architectural concept complimented by a contemporary palette of luxurious materials. The design provides a clear framework for controlled insertion of brands, while offering a cohesive shopping environment which meets the needs of the contemporary traveller.
