About the project
The Bab Al Bahrain (heritage site) outlet of Malabar Gold and Diamonds Boutique, Bahrain is their premium and exclusive store in the kingdom for 21-carat gold and diamond collections. Designed by Stapati Architects and Fit-Out by Havelock One Interiors, the rollout of the store concept is based on a new design vision.
Ranked as a BIG5 jewellery retailer globally, Malabar Gold and Diamonds nominated Havelock One to manufacture shop-fittings for a 1,324 sq. ft. flagship outlet in Bahrain. The factory manufactured all of the FF&E, the complete millwork package, including wall displays, mid-floor furniture, and metal profiles. An extensive amount of effort has gone into researching the materials suitable to match the design concept and detailing the ironmongery and ceiling patterns, crafted by inhouse artisans.
The main highlights of this project are the CNC patterns on the ceiling and columns, fluted wall panels in different shades, the display units in the ‘Mine’ diamonds section and the metallic mesh curtain in the customer lounge.
