The healthcare industry recognizes that the environment that surrounds the patients, plays a crucial role in their speedy recovery, both physically and mentally.

The Design Matter team has carefully developed and executed the design while working on the functional, aesthetical, and psychological aspects that make the design successful. In addition to this, the body’s natural circadian rhythm has been taken into great account in the lighting layout of the patient room.

The patient room is detailed with opulent materials. Every detail hand picked with great care that brings about a sense of timeless luxury.

The 53 sq.m. space is a constellation of a few main zones — Family Zone, Patient Zone, Clinical zone, Storage, and Hygiene —

Healthcare regulations are integrated with the aesthetics and spatiality of the space where the line of sight is carefully considered, this makes sure that the healthcare staff always has a quick view of the patient for quick medical execution. The partition wall that separates the Family zone and Patient zone is strategically placed to cater to all medical requirements.

As you enter the space, you’re welcomed with a composition of warm walnut alongside bronze metal and back-painted glass. The furniture has been kept neutral-toned to balance the warm tone of the backdrop, along with touches of brass.

The patient zone backdrop is composed of the proportional division of wood, leather, and travertine with brass accents along with back painted glass and a light feature. The conscious decision to conceal the medical apparatus underneath the wall paneling for a seamless visual experience. Luxurious healthcare-grade wallpaper in the space brings an innate sense of luxury and charisma.

The layering of light fixtures in the space has been given careful attention to provide optimal lighting. The lux has been adjusted to illuminate the space, creating a warm yet subtle and calming ambiance of the space.
