Mercer Amsterdam Store, Netherlands

Mercer Amsterdam is an Amsterdam-based sneaker and fashion label, that wanted to open its first brand store in Amsterdam. Since the origin and inspiration for the brand and its designs are based on New York, Lexi Beckord also wanted to create New York vibes in the store. The store should be different than other stores in the neighbourhood. Next to creating a store, the aim was to offer a combination with the office space as well as showroom for the brand.

The challenge was to combine three different functions in one space (store, office and showroom). The store was separated from the office space by building a custom-made ensuite doors that can either combine or separate both spaces when needed. The showroom was realised in the downstairs area.
