The interior decor of the hotel is an artistic fusion, embracing the heritage of the region, its laidback beach vibe and its thriving underground art scene. The color palette mirrors the vibrancy of Dubai’s bustling streets, with hues reminiscent of the sparkling turquoise waters of the Palm Dubai, the golden sands of the desert, and the bright lights of the city’s dazzling skyline. Humor was central to the design and there is a spirit of playfulness about the spaces. Throughout the lively interior, visitors are greeted with many of the city’s icons & cultural symbols be it the colorful burkha-clad rendition of an Arabian lady behind the reception desks or sail-shaped Burj Al Arab sketched onto a wallpaper in the living rooms of the Suites. Within the hotel’s lobby lounge, the bright colored sofas sit on polished concrete floors whilst warm timber joists clad the walls. An eclectic collection of seats in a variety of hues are scattered throughout the ground floor. A caricature of a camel in a headscarf peer over the lobby café and looks fondly at the seated guests through its white rimmed spectacles.

The same playful aesthetic works it way into the guestrooms. Over the bed etched into the concrete textured wallpaper are the words ‘May the adventure never stop’! A second camel graphic with mirrored sunglasses offers its company to anyone seated to work at the desk. All along the console runs the iconic Dubai skyline with the impressive Burj Khalifa looming tall. Pastel tones reminiscent of the city’s marvellous sunsets make up much of the color palette within the rooms. The main restaurant with its bold mosaic walls and terrazzo floor forms a perfect venue to take in the views of the nearby sea. The combination of blush-coloured chairs and powder blue cushions gracefully juxtaposes with the oak floors, crafting a welcoming ambiance that exudes genuine comfort, free from any hint of pretence.
