About the project
Sao Paolo draws inspiration from the vibrant Brazilian city, focusing on transforming interior finishes through careful curation. The goal is to create a family-centered, serene, and timeless space by incorporating natural and organic colors, tones, and textures. The structural transformation involves wide doors and opening up the space, aligning with the clients’ desire for a grounded yet elevated aesthetic. Despite a minimal modern approach, the design considers the surroundings and client’s origins to make it feel like a home. The project, a full renovation with significant interior architecture, aims to maximize a homey feel in every corner, emphasizing natural lighting.
The design features a mix of materials and excellent circulation within the space. The main entrance serves as an extension, showcasing bespoke products. The open dining and living space incorporates a double-sided sofa for separation and additional seating. Carefully curated FF&E selections include brands like Frederica, Gubi, &tradition, Tacchini, Louis Poulsen, Eames, Maxalto, BB&B Italia, and Fritz Hansen. Unique pieces by C’est ici complement key statement pieces, while travertine and wood add elegance. The neutral backdrop, earth accessories, greens, and bespoke furnishings contribute to balance, harmony, and flow. The design creates an uncluttered yet practical layout for comfortable living, fostering a sense of togetherness in a luxurious yet homely space.
