Toki Restaurant, Riyadh

Toki is a high-end Chinese restaurant in the heart of Riyadh’s highly sought-after restaurant high street. This restaurant is a true market leader being the first to open its doors to Chinese fine dining offer over a decade ago in Jeddah. They were enlisted to bring this home grown brand to the capital while evolving the design aesthetic to be more relevant to today’s market.

In light of the concept migrating from Jeddah to Riyadh their inspiration for the arrival portal was set. They created a fully custom mosaic mural illustrating birds and landscaping indigenous to China migrating through the entrance of Toki. The arrival experience is punctuated with a theatrical show kitchen highlighting the fiery woks front and center. As the guest enters the triangular main dining space, they are greeted with a host of feature screens playing up the privacy factor while still having the “be seen” element very much loved by locals in Riyadh. Also groundbreaking is that fact that Toki is one of the first restaurants to introduce a bar component visible to customers making our client a pioneer for the Saudi Market movement.
