About the project

Located on the principal floor of a 19th-century building in Turin, Trigenia’s new headquarters is a sophisticated and collaborative space in which to explore new ways of working. BUREAUFIFTYFIFTY designed the interiors of the new Trigenia Headquarters with a focus on connection, collaboration and flexibility for their employees in Turin, Italy. The project, carried out with profound respect for the historical context, has converted the main floor of an elegant and historic Turinese palace into an open and inclusive ecosystem.

Inspired by the spirit of its historic past, BUREAUFIFTYFIFTY’s project breathes new life into the 19th-century building by preserving and restoring existing elements and by creating a fascinating dialogue between pre-existence and new additions. The result is a sophisticated workspace for contemporary, experiential and functional use, enhanced by the material palette and by the custom-made furniture, as well as by the timeless elegance and richness typical of Turin’s refined and enticing 19th-century buildings.

The interior design project is built around the idea of a new work experience that divides the entire workplace into diversified, adaptive and truly out of the ordinary, spaces, so as to focus on the quality of work and communicate the essence and the core values of the business culture. Substantial attention has been paid to improving the acoustic comfort of the spaces, through the use of high-performance flooring, where it has been used a soft, full-bodied bouclé fabric. The lighting, designed to be always different and theatrical, responds to the different needs of the rooms and workers.
