Each year the region’s A+D community comes together to celebrate sustainable designs in support of Surge’s mission. This year’s theme – Design through the Decades – challenges designers to create a conscious piece honouring the 20s/ 50s/ 70s & 90s, iconic years that impacted all forms of design, from the fine and decorative arts to fashion, film, photography and product design. 13 Design Firms accepted the challenge and here are their creations

The design is an opulent water dispensing fountain - a fountain with purpose. The fountain encapsulates endless cycles of domesticated parcels of drinking water. A design for the home that has the aesthetic value of calming people and is an interactive piece of furniture.
