The entrants presented skillful creations, with the winning design being awarded to Stephanie Brown, Senior Interior Designer at RSP Architects, Planners & Engineers Ltd. Stefanie’s mixer held fast the values that were deserved of the winning entry, offering an original, commemorative impression that truly paid homage to the nation’s golden jubilee.
Entrants were allowed to use materials found in the bathroom, such as tiles, wood or stone, as well as include any new element or material associated with a personal memory or experience. The aim was to create a one of a kind product and tell unique stories about it, that are inspired by the cultural and spiritual significance of a country soon to reflect on five decades of growth and achievement.
Stephanie’s winning design, titled ‘The Sands of the Seven Emirates’, was inspired by the varying hues and compositions of the desert landscape, with a different colour and material representing each emirate. Her work also commemorated the golden jubilee of the UAE through the use of a champagne gold finish.
As the winner, Stephanie will now see her design lasered on 50 AXOR MyEdition plates and AXOR MyEdition dummy products for distribution to VIPs across the UAE. She will also experience a VIP factory trip to Germany in 2022, and receive the AXOR ShowerSolutions Hand shower 120 3jet.
