After a nail biting build up with votes coming in till the very last minute, plus close calls and much deliberating amongst the judges, the ballots were in and the verdict was given. Here are the winners of the Design Collective 2020 Product Awards.
The final event on the last day of Design Collective 2020 featured the much awaited Awards. International and regional brands sent in their star products and the entries were formidable. We’re just glad we weren’t the ones judging!
A total of ten categories included eight product divisions that went through an online People’s Choice voting process. The categories of Wellness and Sustainability were based on Judges’ Choice.
We had quite a number of votes submitted for the People’s Choice as the audience vied for their clear favourite on Love That Design. After a month long wait, it was an edge of the seat kinda moment till the announcements, with products narrowly beating each other for the winning spot.
For the Judge’s Choice Awards, the panelists comprised of experts and revered icons from the A&D industry, and the fields of Wellness and Sustainability. The judges discussed at length about each product’s eligibility, uniqueness and more before coming to their final decision. We were honoured to have them opening the secret envelope to announce the winners on the Design Collective platform on the last day of the event.
As we deliver the physical awards to their rightful owners, we must admit being a tiny bit sad parting from these red beauties (they look so good!).
If you missed any of this, don’t worry. We give you, in a nutshell, the summary and winners of the first Design Collective 2020 Product Awards.
