AHK’s organization is based on a flat type of organization principle to ensure the minimum bureaucracy and the maximum efficiency. Every office works independent from the HQ in daily activities. Marketing&Sales are done by each office independently. The inquires and the leads gather at the HQ and the ‘GO’ decision is taken there. For tenders, HQ tender department controls the process and either prepares the tender itself or delegates to the regional office while having the final approval. HQ is responsible for contract negotiations and contract signing Procurement is done by HQ for the main items. For daily items or small packages, regional offices are authorized to handle them. All joinery, furniture, metal and fabric production are done in Turkey. This ensures our quality control and cost control. Unless, it is an urgent delivery or installation, we prefer to keep all our production in Turkey for the mentioned items. For the items such as Marble, Gypsum, Flooring and Glass works, we have our regional solution partners that have worked with us in many projects and have demonstrated the skill and proper quality that AHK can underwrite comfortably. The project management teams are always made of locally established staff. All the PM team members go through a strict evaluation process before hiring and are tested ‘on the job’ before being given responsibility. AHK is keen to allow its collegues to advance by position and responsibility in the company by giving them the chance to move to new positions before an outside hire. Therefore, outside hires usually start from lower ranks so they absorb the AHK culture before they take major responsibilities. AHK always prefers to use the local manpower resources. However, in order to ensure the quality we commit to our Clients, we place a core qualified technical supervisor team from the HQ in every project. The rest of the labor workforce is obtained from local sources.
