Anton van Straaten

Anton began his career in design, working for and freelancing for some of the top ad agencies in Johannesburg. He subsequently then fell in love with photography and realized that not only is photography his passion, but it’s what he excelled in.

He was intrigued with all the different genres of photography and became obsessed to tackle the most challenging genres simply to conquer and understand the technical aspect that was behind each giant. He wrestled with every image he photographed in pursuit of wringing out absolute perfection. Over time he started to realize his strengths and what he simply enjoyed shooting.
