Giovanni Pina

The 100 year old Italian Pasticceria brand plans their first business expansion outside of Italy. With the main dining space suspended in the atrium of one of the top shopping mall complexes in Hong Kong, the design took inspiration from Italian architecture and streetscape, intended to create a high end, open air and photogenic restaurant. The challenge was for the design to integrate naturally with the mall’s richly decorated interior, while a strong brand presence can be identified visually.
