2023 Collection: Discover new additions to the True offering

An airy and bright square space, a white floor and an undulating curtain which, like a backdrop, highlights the vegetation and the lines of the True’s newest collection. An ambience filled with light in which the green of nature and the colour of the food offered come alive along with the simplicity of the timeless lines and shapes of True 2023 collection. For the company whose motto is ‘Extraordinary. Everyday.’ the aim is to make the fair experience enjoyable and purely extraordinary by bringing a human touch and treating the pavilion as a welcoming place. A project that fits perfectly into the themes of the brand, which has decided to make the new ‘Nomade’ collection by Italian-Swiss designer Luciano Dell’Orefice the undisputed showpiece of the exhibition space: a versatile product, a perfect fit for both do mestic and contract environments, with great sensitivity to the theme of sustainability, while also being light and playful. The designer describes his family, which will be debuting right during the sixty-first edition of the Milan Furniture Fair, with these words: ‘Humble and light, the Nomade collection of wooden tables is inspired by Japanese culture, where the essential becomes naturally agile. Its playful language invites one to move, adapting to spaces and composing itself according to the random needs that each situation presents. A versatile table family, based on a single plywood profile that allows a reduction of components and operations for efficient, ethical and sustainable production.”

Tables, stools and different variants of shapes and colours to compose the pavilion area as a square in which to gather. At the centre of the space is the latest arrival at True in terms of padded furniture: Oscar sofa designed by Parisotto+Formenton architects. Sinuous and comfortable shapes, outlined by refined tone sur tone stitching, which are combined to create a two-sided sofa system, perfect for Hospitality areas, but also created for contemporary living areas. Maxi sofas that pun ctuate the space as areas of gentle cosiness in the already welcoming space of the pavilion and are described by Parisotto as follows: “A family of lounge seating of generous proportions, deep and welcoming. The contemporary cut of the lines and the informal approach to use that is suggested reveal the inspiration born from a passion for the aesthetic and functional essentiality of examples of mid-century design born on the American west coast”.

Set amongst the green foliage, framed by the wavy panels and accompanied by the tables of the Nomade family, the new Lisa chairs designed by the E-GGS design stu dio: a woman’s name, simple, common, but evocative and famous. Lisa was born from a light but pervasive trace: “a chair with a simple and rigorous appearance” the desi gners’ studio defines it “The geometric lines are lightened by the presence of discreet details, such as the face of the rear leg that curves to align with the backrest, or the cut of the seat that at the rear reveals the structure. The result is a seat with a light presence and transversal function: stackable, compact, perfect in a bistro and elegant in a home.”

Thus continues the venetian company’s journey towards research that is not only su stainable, but also appealing to use and aesthetics, ready to face the challenge of an increasingly fluid and versatile market. Young, but with an important production history behind it, a solid artistic guide with international experience and the enthusia sm of the vision of entrepreneurs under forty.
