ACTIU Presents the Fifth Edition of MEDITERRANEAN ESSENCE: “The Blind Connection”
ACTIU, a pioneer in sustainable and ergonomic office furniture solutions, is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the fifth edition of MEDITERRANEAN ESSENCE, themed “The Blind Connection.” The event took place on May 9th at the ACTIU SHOWROOM in Dubai, UAE, marking another remarkable celebration of Mediterranean culture blending gastronomy, art, and design.
“The Blind Connection” edition introduced a captivating challenge where architectural studios paired up to embark on a unique artistic journey. Each duo engaged in the task of creating a Mediterranean-inspired painting while one member, the blindfolded artist, relied solely on verbal guidance from their partner, the guide. This interactive and amusing event fostered camaraderie among professionals from renowned companies within the architecture and design sector, including H2R Design, Roar, 4SPACE DESIGN, SAY Studio, Bluehaus, Swiss Bureau, KEO International Consultants, Designsmith, and Gensler.
Almudena Angoso, a prominent Spanish artist based in Dubai, graced the event as the guiding presence, overseeing the artistic process and ultimately selecting the winning team. After an exhilarating display of creativity and collaboration, the esteemed honor was bestowed upon the team from KEO INTERNATIONAL, comprised of Vince Palapal and Junellene Feliz, for their outstanding interpretation of Mediterranean aesthetics.
