Knit! by Kvadrat is a series of work by 28 different designers exploring the potential of knitted textiles by Kvadrat Febrik.

Knit! showcases the amazing creativity of 28 talented designers, interpreting the knitted textile collection by Kvadrat Febrik in their creations. Each piece is presented in our headquarters in Ebeltoft, Denmark.

Kvadrat Febrik’s knitted textiles are three-dimensional constructions with form-shaping abilities that open up a world of material possibilities. They provide the perfect canvas for the designers to push the boundaries of what can be achieved within their respective disciplines.

Knit! is the fourth edition of Kvadrat’s Design Projects. This programme was born out of a desire to inspire people to use textiles in new and surprising ways, and to create a stage for designers to show their talent to a global audience. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this edition debuted both digitally, taking into account the restrictions on international travel, and physically, during 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen, and not during Salone del Mobile in Milan as planned.

Three of the twenty eight designers are from the Middle East
