Ahrbom & Partner

Ahrbom & Partner started the business in its current form in 1999. The office has its origins and way of working in a tradition since the 1960s. Per and Ann-Charlotte Ahrbom worked for Peter Celsing until his death in 1974. Per then co-founded the AFHJ office (Ahrbom Fahlsten Henriksson and Jensfelt), which followed up and completed ongoing work such as Kulturhuset and the Riksbank. After a couple of years, Per together with Lars Fahlsten formed Ahrbom Fahlsten Arkitektkontor. This office carried out a number of large and small projects for 12 years and during this time several of the current shareholders were employed. In 1988, Ahrbom Arkitektkontor was established with Per Ahrbom as sole owner. For another 12 years, Ahrbom Arkitektkontor had an average of 15 employees and during this time developed the collaboration with both old and new clients.

As a conscious investment in continuity and continued good development of the office, Ahrbom & Partner was formed in 1999. The office is now owned by Per Ahrbom, Bosse Ericson, Gunnar Hellman, Julijana Nyhaga, Pär Ahlbom and Paul Kvanta. The management group and the board consist of the owners and Johan Ahnborg and Clara Lindencrona, Gunnar Hellman is the CEO. The board also has two employee representatives. There are a total of about 70 people working in the office: Architects, interior designers, civil engineers, communicators and administrative staff. After 28 years at Skeppsbron 24, the office moved in February 2007 to new premises at Skeppsbron 44.
