For over 30 years Jacqui Hunter has been integrating her deep love of Africa with her passion for exceptional guest and lifestyle experience. She has a keen sense of adventure and the ability to introduce a sense of playfulness into the creation of beautiful and welcoming spaces.

She takes each project from conceptualization through design to installation, following through with comprehensive operational consulting as each project requires.

Her design inspiration springs from the unique DNA of each location and the sense of place it inspires. It is a mindful connection with that space and careful consideration of it’s function and an understanding of it’s occupants that is fundamental. Relevance, original thinking, collaboration with other artists and respect for materials are all part of the process to create an environment that embraces the space it inhabits.

In her work she strives to maintain a light footprint and to respect the environment and all those with whom she connects. She is always conscious of the total experience and want each guest to feel the complete joy her work brings her.
