About the project
2 Weeks Nightclub overlooks Beirut’s sea port, and is based on the concept of containment without caging – viewing another world from the inside. Designed by Rabih Geha Architects, in collaboration with Add Engineering & Contracting the vision for the interiors, started with the concept of a shell within a shell.
The designers worked closely with Addmind Group team to create a space that offers club-goers an immersive experience through the use of material and visual communication. A webbed black steel shell envelopes the majority of the club where the main bar, DJ booth and seating areas lie within. The outside of the shell remains part of the destination, with a chilled bar area for onlookers to socialize, while also keeping an eye on the happenings through the mesh. The industrial exterior of the shell with raw damaged walls and steel casing beautifully contrasts with the luxurious interiors, styled with glamorous velvet, marble, and brass furnishing. Linear light is placed inside the rectangular composition, creating a vibrant and pulsating atmosphere. The DJ booth has a zig-zag brushed brass, that reflects light and the chandeliers inside lends a softer, more sophisticated vibe.
