About the project
Acacium Group partnered with workplace design specialists TSK Group to design and build their new Central London hub. As a leading healthcare solutions provider, Acacium Group put their people, patients and clients at the core of their culture. TSK aimed to emanate this principle. So the design process began by investigating how Acacium staff were operating and engaging with the four historic sites split across North Central London. By curating a strategically-designed central London hub, Acacium could communicate a cohesive culture while ensuring each brand has what they need to thrive. This transition allowed for a renewed focus on diversity, accessibility and equality while reducing carbon footprint, making space for staff growth and attracting future talent.
The design team aligned this new workplace with Acacium’s paper-first philosophy, transitioning to non-assigned desks with a standardised IT set-up and implementing tech-fitted meeting rooms that make communication between a hybrid workforce simple. The adoption of a hybrid working model means that the number of desks has been reduced by more than half, allowing a greater dedication to collaborative areas, social spaces and training rooms, while still making space for quiet and focused working.
