Fayy Health Polyclinic, Dubai

Fayy Health Polyclinic is a high-end outpatient plastic surgery and women’s health center, designed by Dubai-based award-winning interior design studio Styled Habitat. Located in the heart of Dubai’s Central Business District, the 1,300 sq.mtr. facility consists of consultation, treatment and procedure rooms both for the plastic surgery ward and the women’s health & spa division.

Drawing inspiration from the sensuality of the human body, the design emphasizes the harmony of natural forms by embracing the organic. The result is a highly functional environment that creates a sense of calm and refined indulgence while reinforcing the brand’s focus on service and the personal perception of individual beauty.

Designing for a health care facility demanded the use of impermeable surfaces to create a bacteria free environment. Styled Habitat was on the lookout for materials that could not only fulfil this purpose but also aesthetically align with the overall design theme.

Dekton Laurent ticked all the boxes – as a high performance anti-bacterial material with a color inspired by natural stone. It is used to clad an entire modular unit, seamlessly covering the vanity countertop, sink, backsplash and cabinet.

Paired with dark stained oak, Laurent’s dramatic gold veins crisscrossing against a dark brown background offers warmth and contrast. This luxurious juxtaposition of materials created the sophisticated “retreat like feel” that the client desired.
