About the project
The Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is a large holiday complex designed by the architect Alvaro Sans located on the Adeje coast of Tenerife, between Mount Teide and the ocean. The project was conceived to adapt to the climate and architecture of the place, creating a contemporary design with conventional elements of the buildings of the Canary Islands that integrates with the natural environment. The hotel has a 14-meter-diameter dome that presides over the entrance, as well as the largest saltwater pool in Europe from which to appreciate the Atlantic Ocean. The resort has more than 600 rooms with contemporary interior design, as well as villas and a Red Level boutique hotel inside. The space is full of gastronomic and entertainment options, such as a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant, another or Italian, Asian, Mexican, French cuisine, meat grill or a food market and vegan corner.
