About the project
The L’Arbre restaurant is located inside the futuristic L’Arbre Blanc building in Montpellier, France, and its furnishings speak Italian: the second floor of the building and its last floor dedicated to the rooftop bar.
The palace, unique of its kind, was designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto and two Parisian architects Nicolas Laisné and Manal Rachdi. The building is 17 floors high, of which 15 are dedicated to residential premises. L’Arbre Blanc has 110 apartments, private parking lots and garages on three levels, many cellars and storage areas to guarantee maximum living functionality. The first two levels host the L’Arbre restaurant, an art gallery and offices. On the 17th floor a shared space, one reserved for the inhabitants of L’Arbre Blanc and the other reserved for the panoramic bar, so that everyone enjoys a breathtaking view of the city of Montpellier.
