About the project
Together with London-based Stac Architecture Ltd., Kriskadecor has decorated one of the restaurants of the original international chain in South Africa. Between the warm colours, the original exposed brick walls and the introduction of terracotta block cladding and hot-rolled mild steel sheeting, the adaptability of the small, anodised aluminium links stands out.
The three design solutions provided by the company create a unique ambience. The room dividers consisting of undulating semi-circles with customised curved rails, as well as the innovative ceiling curtain and the cylindrical chandeliers covering the various light points, provide the desired colour, texture, and movement.
It was the first time we worked with the epoxy coating -Luxe Colour Edition-, which allows to customise any project with all the colours of the RAL and Pantone chart.
