Ökoworld Office Space, Hilden

Ökoworld AG’s new discovery centre in Hilden is a versatile office space that can also be used to welcome and assist customers. The flexible design of the 400m2 space incorporates 14 workspaces, a conference room and two meeting rooms. The interplay of individually themed zones, based on an artistic interpretation of the four elements, is an expression of Ökoworld AG’s ethical and ecological corporate identity.

When it came to planning, implementing and selecting the materials used in the building, the focus was firmly on maximum sustainability. The Object Carpet products used fit the bill perfectly, both in terms of style and sustainability requirements. In particular, the high-quality Velaa carpet, which was incorporated in the water-themed meeting cube, is made from recycled thread. The thread is manufactured from plastic waste, including abandoned fishing nets recovered from the ocean, making it a product with excellent ecological credentials that also reflects the theme of the room and the identity of Ökoworld AG.
