About the project
Designed and renovated by Smart Renovation, the interiors of this massive project, Arabian Ranches Saheel Villa 42, for an Iranian family of 5. This was one of the first ever biggest renovations in Arabian Ranches with around 5 – 6 extensions to this space.
The project aims to highlight positive energy reflecting a unique lifestyle. The villa expresses a wonderful fusion between luxury and classic, customized from top to bottom reflecting the owner’s daily lifestyle. The selection of complimentary tones, rich materials, and attentive details culminate in a living space that manages to be both luxurious and welcoming at the same time.
The desire to create an abode that revelled in the sense of space — a home that brought the family together but left enough room for individual personalities to thrive and bloom. Smart Renovation endeavoured to pair enclosed volumes with open areas to amplify this sense of freedom. The villa prioritized the maximum use of space, focusing on exuberant natural lighting, spaciousness, integration of rooms, comfort and high quality in all aspects of the residence, and exclusivity in its execution.
The residence was made for a large family that likes to receive friends and family for gatherings and celebrations. For the main entrance, we installed a beautiful aluminium impact-resistant door which is both elegant and highly functional. The entire house is designed and constructed with a sense of connection with nature through transparency with windows. The ceilings were raised and redesigned the entire ceiling layout. With the floor-to-ceiling windows, a sense of openness and inside out was created. The flooring included large slabs to create a seamless effect. With the intent of maximizing ceiling height, the team created a split level that adds extra headroom to the lounge and dining area. The champagne-painted walls and wall panels (mouldings) created a classic character and a decorative way to hang picture frames and the onyx champagne tiles add warmth to the interiors. Convenient wall shelves for décor items have been backlit with LED around every niche along with customized furniture according to the client’s taste. Beautiful lights from Maseiro hovers above the dining table and the living area adding dynamism to the static dining group.
The powder room was designed with a mix of Italian and Iranian designs – calm colours and hints of gold in a discrete way for the wash basin, marble countertops, beige walls and white countertops, that bring a whimsical elegance suitable that will make any guest want to linger and admire the space. The taupe-themed kitchen accessories and cabinets brought a sense of warmth and comfort to the space. It’s neutral, soft, and versatile and you can pair it with many other colours to suit almost any interior design style. For most of us, the kitchen is the heart of the home, especially for a chef. We created an Italian kitchen, a neat and clean space with large countertops, working units and a lot of storage space to conceal appliances and more.
The living room, joint with the dining room and kitchen, is a multifunctional area where the family gathers and meetings with friends take place. This space is conventionally divided into two parts: in the first, there is a kitchen, and in the second there is a living room. The family room is designed in colours with a predominance of shades of white and onyx shades that are perfectly integrated with the rest of the house. The bookshelves around the TV in the family room are completely custom-made by the team.
The stairs leading to the second floor, have been renovated in marble with hints of gold and silver, and LED lights to create a perfect flow of colours from the ground floor to the first. A beautiful ceiling-to-floor chandelier from Italy hovers near the staircase adding a touch of elegance to the area. The second floor was designed with a light wooden floor in light grey shades complementing the colours on the first and ground floor. The second floor included massive extensions. The master bedroom is a masterpiece – the exuberant view of the golf course and the beautiful pool can be admired from various environments, such as the bedrooms, living, and the rooms on the upper floor.
One of the wow elements in this villa was the walk-in wardrobe with a large island table, made for both men and women, and cabinets from Italy, again finished in taupe colours and bronze handles. The master bathroom was renovated massively. The two sinks were designed opposite each other, for him and her, with separate water closets and showers. The flooring for the bathrooms was designed in calacatta gold and silver and contrasted with bold and beautiful dark grey accents behind a beautiful standalone tub. The showers included a bench and a practical niche. Overall, a super cosy and functional space.
The boy’s bedroom was part of an extension as well with huge windows that overlook the pool and golf course. The team played with a lot of dark colours for their bedroom. The wardrobes are from Italy. And the furniture and desks with LED lights were tailor-made for them. Meanwhile, their bathroom was designed in a grey and black theme. The result is a 5-bedrooms villa with mesmerizing interior design fit-out and bold architecture that comes in perfect balance with the landscape.
