About the project
Chef Fatih Tutak dream is that of feeding mind and soul of the ones that come and taste his cuisine. In his homonymous restaurant Turk Fatih Tutak, in Istanbul, he continued to follow his motherland traditions, giving his guests a gastronomic journey made of study, innovation, and tradition. The chef reinterprets family recipes and childhood memories from Balkans to the Mediterranean region and Anatolia to the Turkish culture, then going to the influence of Central Asia.
Turk Fatih Tutak has been listed in the 20 of the world’s best new restaurants for 2020 by the CNN Travel, and certainly the restaurant design does not go unnoticed. In 2022 it won its second Michelin Star, the only restaurant in Turkey to reach this milestone.
Suite armchairs by MIDJ furnish the large room and accompany round and large tables in wood and stone. The wooden structure of the Suite armchairs, with seat and backrest in Tuscan hide, blends perfectly with the design and style chosen to furnish the restaurant, creating contrast with the geometric marble floors and the walls used as a cellar, with fine wine bottles.
